Jerry’s sculptures were typically constructed of found objects, especially driftwood from the cypress trees of Lake Bistineau, where she took a yearly painting retreat. She also found turtle shells and moss, which she used to create the faces and hair on her series of Swamp Sisters, most of which are life-size.
